Global blocks
Some blocks are global blocks. Their content is set in one place, and it looks the same everywhere the block is used. Think of a block with testimonials, your projects or a contact banner.
- You usually edit the content on the home page (the dashboard) of the CMS, not on the page where the block appears.
- On the page itself, you only choose where the block goes.
- One change applies straight away to every page with that block.
Automatic blocks
Section titled “Automatic blocks”Some global blocks fill themselves, for example:
- a list of the latest news posts;
- an overview of open vacancies;
- your projects or case studies.
These blocks take their content from other pages on your website. To change them, you change those pages. A new vacancy, for example, automatically appears in the list as soon as you publish it.
